OSHA 1910.179 standardizes crane safety based on CMAA (Crane Manufacturer’s Association of America) standards, and while annual and periodic inspections must be conducted  by certified crane inspectors, daily inspections can and should be conducted by crane operators before a lift. By checking equipment daily, crane operators can take proactive measures to identify and mitigate risk of accidents, potential fines and repairs associated with equipment damage.

As a certified CMAA member, our goal is to help keep our customers safe and help enforce industry safety standards.

Below is a FREE daily inspection checklist to serve as a guide for your daily operations.
